Israel Herrera aka DJ Hisrav began his music career in early 1999 collecting trance music and assisting trance parties. In 2002 he began playing in different parties around Mexico. His describes his influences as "wide open" - ranging from progressive rock, dub and break beats to natives, instrumental and classic to techno, deep house, minimal and experimental. His style is a mixture of Mexican, UK and South African Trance.

His DJ Set is known for it's groovy sound at 140 bpm with progressive influences, closing with psychedelic sounds at 144 bpms, passing through the atmospheric morning grooves and intelligent loops.

He is part of a project called “In Lakéch” with DJ Haffman, a fusion of diverse electronic influences with minimal psytrance. He also is part of Catalyst Records, a Mexican label founded by DJ Dende.
